Friday includes dinner and costs $13.  Saturday is only $10.  Come both days and leave it all out and ready to come back the next day for only $20 and $5 towards your product purchase.

Store Regular Hours Ending

With 5 kids growing up quickly, I need to spend more time at home.  

As a result, Scrapbook Garden will no longer have regular store hours.  

The store will be open the first Friday monthly for card class (pushed back one week when it fall around a holiday.)  

We will be offering crops monthly.  Watch for dates here or in email.

We will also be here occasionally for our own family projects and small crops.  When we are here, we will be open.

The last option is to call me.  I can still do special orders or meet anyone at the store for scheduled shopping.  We live in town and welcome small groups to schedule crops or shopping as well.

I am hoping to eventually get an online store up and running but...we'll see.

December Card Class

Friday, December 4th.  Come at 1:30 or 6:15.  Make two of each of the fabulous cards below.  All pieces and envelopes are provided for only $15.  Just bring your friends and your favorite adhesives.

October Card Class

Learn how to make these 4 amazing but simple Christmas cards.  All parts and envelopes are included!  Most pieces pre-cut to size.  Just bring your favorite adhesive and your friends.  Class fee is only $13.  Order Pre-pay to reserve your spot.

Holiday Hours

The store will be closed Saturday, September 5th through Tuesday, September 8th for Labor Day weekend.  We will resume our regular hours on Wednesday, September 9th.

September Card Class

Pieces are all pre-cut.  Use stamps, ink, punches and more to make these cards.  Cost is only $13 and includes envelopes.  Pre-pay and pay only $11.

Baseball, Math and Poison Ivy

What do all these things have in common?  My family.  

Lately, I have felt the need to be home more.  The tipping point was a call from home with my 8yo son screaming in pain in the background from a severe poison ivy reaction.  My teenager was at a loss.  Thankfully, I am only minutes away.  I realize, I could just as easily have been grocery shopping or out of town, but I wasn't.  I was at the store, on a day without a single customer.

My children can and do cover some of my limited hours but as they get older, and with having five very unique kids, their activities and needs will only increase.  Since a good portion of my customers continue to shop at the "big box" store first and then come to me, I feel my time could be better spent with my family.

I am so very thankful for all of you who have faithfully shopped with me over the years.  I have really enjoyed meeting new people and creating with everyone.  I love to serve.  I'm sure I will find another way to do it.

That said, I am not closing the store immediately.  

My first step is to put it out there that I am looking for someone to rent the store from a just few square feet up to 100%.  If only interested in a portion of the space, arrangements would have to be made for sharing.

I won't have a big, get rid of everything sale.  Everything has already been 20% off since the day I opened with 50 cent 12x12 paper.  That's a great deal.  Not 20% off one item, but everything purchased.  No shipping cost.  Not a lot of gas.  That's pretty awesome.  I will continue to have items available for sale.  I will probably do a monthly card class and a monthly crop locally where items will be for sale.  Perhaps do some online sales.  We'll see.

So, nothing changing today.  I will be here until I'm not.  If you know of anyone who wants a small space to try to get a business off the ground, this is a wonderful opportunity.  Give me a call.

Upcoming Crop

Next Crop Date is April 10-11.

Friday from 1pm-10pm; includes dinner.

Great group of ladies get together to work on projects.  Most are scrapbooking but some may work on a wedding, baby showers, even Christmas cards.  Bring whatever you need uninterrupted time to get done.

This crop will also be featuring some school related pre-done double page layouts (mouthful, right?)  Anyone scrambling to get done some pages for a graduate will be able to browse our selection of layouts.  Cost is only $8 each or 3 or more for only $6 each for both coordinating pages!

Bring your favorite drink and join us in our snack sharing, too.

This crop will also have a crafter's garage sale for some extra amazing deals.  Bring your items with your name or initials and cost and put them on the sale table then shop for other people's great buys!
