January Challenge Kit Idea

Are you one of those busy people that bought the Monthly Challenge Kit but didn't get it done?  Here's what I did with the kit:

I took these photos of the 16 grandkids playing during the BIG family picture day.  I let the talented (and very patient) Melissa Price of Signature Studios take the "real" pictures and I captured the behind-the-scenes action.  Great fun!

Hopefully, this will get your creative juices flowing and you will pull it back out and get a layout cropped.  If you don't want to use this as an idea but want to recreate it with your own pictures, then why not purchase the instructions along with the paper and string that wasn't included in the kit?  Only $2!!

New Layout Class

Welcome to the ridiculously talented, Kelly Maatman, aka Watergirl.  Kelly is going to join the team by offering a Layout Class the third Thursday every month beginning Thursday, February 21st.  Class available at 1:30 or 6:15 pm.  

Class will include 2 - double page layouts.  All pieces will be provided.  All you provide is your favorite adhesive and your photos!  Here is what we'll be doing at the first class.

 BTW, notice Kelly put the suggested photo sizes?  Come in with your photos already cropped and you'll be off to a good start.  

So, for only $15 you'll go home with 2 complete double page layouts.  Layouts may also be ordered as a kit and picked up any time after 1:30 the day of class.  You may order an additional layout or layouts at $6 each with purchase of class or kit.

We're Back!

Hope you all had wonderful Christmas.

Galilee Christmas Program 2012

We enjoyed 60 - 70 degree weather in Florida.  The kids swam and daddy's knee healed nicely.  I didn't bring anything to work on so I'm just now getting back to my crafting and projects.  

   

Thankfully, Missy and Mary are prepared with 

Monthly Card Class next Friday at 1:30 

and the 

Oversized Matchbook Mini Album 

on Thursday, January 25th at 6pm or Friday, January 26th at 1:30.

Anyway, it's good to be back albeit a bit cold.  I'm thinking of starting a project 52, where you take a picture at least once a week.  It can be a family pic, an individual pic or just a picture of something that represents the week.  I don't think I'll try to scrap every week but I might do a monthly or even quarterly page based on the events.  I really want to play with my camera after taking the Signature Studios Camera Coaching Class!
