Fun Double - Summer Fun

I wanted to use some eyelets.  I have lots and really haven't used them lately.  I tend to have a favorite for a while and then put it away for a bit and even (gasp) forget about them.  I really like how the eyelets added some interest and fun to the letters while keeping with the circle thing I had going on.  Hmmm...maybe circles will be my next thing.

These layouts were made into $7 pre-done kits and are available while supplies last.

April Crop

April 21st from 10a - 10p.

I found some space!  This will be the first big crop for the Garden.  We will be at the Saranac American Legion for 12 awesome hours of cropping!  Bottled water provided and a kitchen is available.  Cost is only $5!!

This is just a fun Bear layout.  Since she had hair we haven't really been able to contain it until we found the wide headbands by April - only $4!!

Homemade Flourish Card

I have been eyeing the beautiful flourishes using rhinestones and pearls for a while now but it really ups the cost of my layouts and cards!  I decided to try to make my own.

Freehand was a failure I won't even show a picture of so here is what I did second...

I used an old flourish stamp from an Inque Boutique and stamped it on white cardstock.  Next, I cut the edges off some clear, plastic package I had and taped it over the stamped image.  The last thing I did was use my awesome Pearl Pens from Viva Decor to put on dots.  I initially tried Liquid Pearls from Ranger but they came out pokey.  The Pearl Pen smoothed itself into a pretty dot.  I usually really like Ranger products but they need to work on the Liquid Pearls!

In the top photo you can see the sunny yellow Pearl Pen I put over the pokey white opal Liquid Pearl bumps.  I finished covering with sunny yellow and cut out a piece of the flourish after they dried.  I still have more of the flourish to use on another project later!

April Card Class

Here are the cards for the April Card Class.  Class will be moved back one week from the usual first Friday to avoid Easter weekend.  That will make the class April 13th at 1:30.  Class will also be held on Friday at 6:15 and Saturday at 10 to accommodate a few customers so come in when it works for you.

6 cards and envelopes for only $13.  Pay by Monday prior to class and pay only $12.  After purchase of the class you may order any additional cards for only $1 each!

Kid Crop Friday

No school Friday for Saranac.  Bring the kids in for a fun make and take to do together any time between noon and 2pm!  Choose from a simple layout or 2 homemade cards for only $2/child with your own adhesive or $3 using ours.

Cricut Class - Basic

This Saturday, March 10th at 10am.  Come in and learn how to really get started and comfortable using your Cricut.  You'll learn tips regarding the mat and how to read the cartridge books.  You'll use the buttons on the right of the machine to make projects in class to give you the confidence to go home and do more!


Here is the double page layout we'll make along with other projects.  (This layout uses the Heritage cartridge.)

Cost for this class is $20.  Not for Expression 2.
