September Kits

Only two of these fun kits left this month.  Hurry in to get yours because when they're gone, they're gone!

Using the Aug Kit :)

I was playing with the gorgeous August kit featuring graphic 45 paper from the Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe line.  It went perfectly with #3's photos from Branch Adventures Horsemanship Camp with a Kingdom theme, especially since he was in the Robinhood group.

So, if you haven't used your kit yet, you may still work on it and turn it in to have it voted on.

Here's the left side.

Fussy cut the old bottle and used pop dots to give a bit of dimension.  The double bottle has two pop dots stacked to give even more.

Of course all the little snippets had to have old fashioned font and then be beat up and ink applied to give them just the right abused look ;)

Here's the right side...

This close-up shows the sanding here and there and also the EK Success edger punches used to individualize them.

I used some old alpha stamps to just date and title for posterity.

October Card Class Preview

Coming Friday, October 5th at 1:30 or 6:15 pm...

Here's the first look at October's Card Class with Missy.

This class will include two of each of these cards for a total of ten cards and envelopes for only $13.  With the purchase of a class, you may purchase additional cards for only $1 each to make in class.

Next month's card class will feature five all new cards for another 10 for $13 Christmas card class.  

September Challenge Kit Available

Now through the end of the month pick up your September Challenge Kit for only $6.  Includes double-sided cardstock and a tag from Echo Park, ribbon, and choice of metal charm.  Use the kit to make a card, scrapbook layout or other papercrafting item and bring it in by September 29th to be voted on all during the month of October.

Winner, as voted by customers, will receive a $10 gift certificate.  All other entrants will be put in a drawing to receive the next month's kit - FREE!  What is it they say?  If you don't play, you can't win!

Fun Double - Branch Worship Camp - Part Deux

I put together this layout earlier this week.  Recently I got to do the second fun part.  The first fun part is looking at the pictures!

So for some pre-teen girls I dug into my embellishments and pulled out some Prima flowers with a funky color combination that they put together for their band, The Polka Dots and their super socks!

Fun Double - Branch Worship Camp

Made this simple double page layout for the girls' band at Branch Adventures.  I made the custom paper background on the left and matched it to the polka dot paper on the right.  This is all the hard part - coordinating the photos, cardstock and layout.  

The fun part comes next.....
