November 21st Bonus Christmas Card Class

Friday, November 21st anytime from 1:30 until 6:15.  

Supplies available all day, while they last.  Bring your favorite adhesive and make one of each for only $12.  Pre-register for class and make any additional for only $1 each.  Note:  the snowman won't mail in an regular flat envelope because it's a treat holder but he makes a great place setting for holiday gatherings!

   

November 7th Card Class

Next month's Card Class is a Christmas Stamp-a-Stack by Missy.  Make two of each of the four festive cards below, for a total of eight cards.  Price is still only $13 and includes envelopes.  Just register today and then come to class on Friday, November 7th with your favorite adhesive(s).

Remember, if you pre-pay by the Monday prior to class you not only reserve you spot but also save $1.

Feeling Overwhelmed with Photos?

Way too many pictures in shoeboxes.  Someone just handed you a ridiculous pile of photos and paraphernalia from ancestors and said, "See what you can do with this."  You have your first child's baby book done but she graduates in two years and you have three more children.  Here's one of the first bits of advice I was given when I started scrapbooking almost 20 years ago.

Organizational Tip:
Start with current photos - Yes, I said it.  Start with current photos.  Skip the baby pics.  It will get you going.  It will help you accomplish something to put out at graduation or look through now.  It will be easier to remember details for journaling.  You can always go back and work on older photos.  Trust me.

If you want to really get a bunch of pages done in a short amount of time, consider trying a preconfigured page like these from We R Memory Keepers multi-pack.  Many are the common 4x6 photos but there are other sizes available as well as assorted sizes on the same page.


The beauty of this style is there is no thought to the layout itself.  You simply slide in photos or journaling boxes or pre-designed tags or whatever.  Here's where we can help you....

Scrap in a Snap Class
Mark your calendar for either 

Thursday, September 18th (choose from 1:30 or 6:15) or 

Saturday, September 20th (choose from 10am or 1pm)

We will make five double page layouts in this class!

Here is an example of what we will do in class

You will need to bring:
photos (about 5-10 per layout,depends on your preference)
your favorite adhesive(s), 
journaling pen and/or alphabet stickers
personal cutter

That's it.  Everything else is provided!  This includes awesome designer cardstock and page protectors as well as the knowledge and confidence to continue to get many pages done in one sitting on your own - maybe at one of our fabulous upcoming crops!

Cost is only $35/person.

Pay only $32/person or $60 for you and a friend when you pre-pay by Saturday, Sept. 13.

September Card Class

On September 5th make 4 cards and 1 treat box.  All pieces and parts provided and pre-cut.  Go home with your finished products and new techniques learned to try at home.

Class is only $13 for all, including envelopes.  Make any additional card (or the box) for only $1 each.  Pay ahead for October's class and pay only $11.
